1. Free roof inspection
Call your local Gerard Decragard Licensed Applicator for a free roof inspection. You’ll get a no-obligation professional report on the state of your roof, plus a quote for putting things right with a Gerard Roofs Decragard Coating System. If restoration is not recommended for your roof, your licensed applicator can explain other Gerard Roofs solutions to you.

2. Surface preparation
To ensure your new coating gets a permanent grip on your roof, the old surface is carefully treated to remove any algae, moss and lichen as well as grime and chalking. Thorough water cleaning follows to make sure the roof is completely clean and free of any loose material.

3. Repairs
Your Gerard Roofs Decragard Licensed Applicator has the skills and experience to make straightforward repairs to your roof, such as replacing cracked tiles, fixing broken or cracked mortar, removing dents and treating or replacing corroded roofing. This service saves you the hassle and delay of organising a separate roofing contractor.

4. Basecoat
Whether your existing roof is concrete tile, metal tile, corrugated iron or coloured steel, an appropriate basecoat and/or sealer coat is applied to provide a secure surface ready for the final Decragard topcoat.

5. Topcoat
Now the highly-durable coating you have chosen to enhance and restore the beauty of your home is carefully applied. The colour can be the same as it was - or if you’re ready for a change, a completely new one from the extensive Decragard range. It’s up to you.

10-year warranty
Gerard Decragard Coatings come with a ten-year pro-rata warranty. This means your coating has a full warranty for the first five years and a diminishing pro-rata warranty for the remaining five years.
