OTHER INFORMATION General Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules
1. These Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules apply to the Gerard Roofs ReRoofing promotion "The Roof Shout" to be held from 13th April 2009 and ending on 30th June 2009. The Radio Network (TRN) will promote this competition on their stations including NewstalkZB, ZM, Classic Hits, Coast and Radio Sport and their corresponding websites. The Radio Network reserves the right to add and/ or delete participating stations at any time.
2. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry and Competition Rules. Should you not wish to participate in this draw please advise Gerard Roofs so your details may be removed from our database. TRN and/or Gerard Roofs reserve the right to exclude any person from the contest on the grounds of criminal record.
3. How to enter: Trailers will direct listeners to Gerard Roofs website and an 0800 callcenter where they can register their details. All people registering their details go in the draw to win a re-roof of their existing home from Gerard Roofs to a maximum value of $10,000.00 (excluding GST). See condition 19 and 20. These trailers are broadcast to the network and this competition is open to residents of New Zealand only. TRN and its sponsors will supply and deliver prize notification only. Any installation costs are the responsibility of Gerard Roofs. The Prize-winner will be determined by random draw. The winner will be notified by TRN and Gerard Roofs by phone and or mail/email. Anyone who makes a purchase of a Gerard Roofs re-roof or a Gerard Decragard Coating as a result of receiving a quotation during the promotion period will automatically be entered into the bonus draw for a family holiday in Tahiti.
4. The judge's decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. The Gerard Roofs prize being offered on TRN stations comprises of the supply and installation of a Gerard Roofs re-roof or Gerard Decragard Coatings refurbishment of an existing residential roof. Prize includes Gerard Tiles, Labour, Accessories and a FULL new roof warrantee or Gerard Decragard Coatings installation and warranty. Prize does not include any local or regional taxes (if any), building consent costs (if any) or additional scaffolding requirements (if any). The bonus prize draw for those who make a purchase of a Gerard Roofs re-roof or Gerard Decragard Coatings during the promotion period is for a Tahiti Holiday for a family of up to four for 5 nights. The prize includes economy L/class return airfares flying Air Tahiti Nui for up to two adults and up to two children, transfers from Papeete to your accommodation for 5 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment/duplex at Le Manava Suites Resorts and return transfers to Papeete. Prize does not include any additional taxes (if any), travel insurance, meals, beverages or spending money. The travel must be booked and taken within 9 months of the draw taking place. Children must be aged 14 years or less and must be the direct descendant children of the adults flying. Travel with this prize is not available between 22 Dec 2009 and 03 Jan 2010. To qualify for the draw of the Tahiti Holiday an official entry form must be completed in full, and the ReRoof or Coatings work quoted and accepted must have been paid in full.
6. The prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable. Only the person who originally entered the promotion can be awarded the prize. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to participate on another person's behalf.
7. People can enter more than once but each entry must be for a separate location.
8. Employees of TRN - This promotion's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, employees of other radio stat ions and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate and win. The term immediate families include spouses, Grandparents, Parents, Children, and Grandchildren whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, co-habitation or other family extension.
9. Employees of Gerard Roofs - This promotion's participating sponsors and their advertising agencies, distributors, employees of other radio stations and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate and win. The term immediate families include spouses, Grandparents, Parents, Children, and Grandchildren whether by marriage, past marriages, remarriage, adoption, cohabitation or other family extension.
10. TRN and Gerard Roofs disclaims any responsibility for the inability to complete or continue an entry due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection, acts of God or otherwise. Participants are restricted to the use of ordinary telephone equipment or on-line completion of the required forms.
11. To the extent permitted by law the TRN and Gerard Roofs will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of the prizes.
12. By participating, all winners grant TRN and Gerard Roofs exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices and likeness in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waives any claims to royalty, right or remuneration for such use.
13. All personal details provided to participate in these promotions will be held by TRN and Gerard Roofs for the purpose of this promotion and on forwarded to participating Gerard Roofs Distributors for the provision of the quotation services requested and entries may be used by the TRN and/or Gerard Roofs for future promotional and marketing purposes, unless otherwise advised by entrants.
14. TRN reserves the right to refuse awarding any prize to a person who is determined to have violated a TRN rule as out lined above, gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or obtained a winner status using fraudulent means.
15. All Gerard Roofs re-roof or Gerard Decragard Coatings purchases during the promotional period entitle the purchaser to enter the draw for their cash back to a maximum of $10,000.00 exl gst, and will automatically be entered into the bonus draw for the Tahiti Holiday.
16. The major prize will be drawn and a time frame set for the delivery and installation of the prize before the end of July 2009 or in the case where a purchase has been transacted, will have their monies refunded before 31 July 2009.
17. Rules may be amended from time to time by employees of TRN. TRN reserves the right to discontinue a promotion at any stage.

19. To qualify for the prize draw the property entered must be an individual domestic dwelling in New Zealand as defined by TRN. It must be an existing concrete or metal tile roof or a longrun roof that has suitable pitch to be re-roofed with a Gerard Roofs Tile profile or refurbished with a Gerard Decragard Coating.
20. The dwelling needs to comply with the general guidelines of suitability for a Gerard Roofs re-roof or Gerard Decragard Coatings in respect to minimum pitch, existing roof cladding and other variables in the case of a re-roof. 21. Gerard Roofs reserves the right to pass on any information relating to dwellings that do not conform to its guidelines for a Gerard Roofs re-roof or Gerard Decragard Coatings to other supply companies that may specialize in solutions for non-compliant roofs.
22. TRN and Gerard Roofs reserve the right to withdraw any incomplete or inaccurate entries from the prize draw.
